I'm an master student of advanced information systems and my bachelor degree was in industrial engineering. My field of interest in industrial engineering was quality related topics like SQC, SPC, DoE, Six Sigma, etc. Now I'm looking for a proper topic for my master thesis which combines Data Science and Quality related topics.
One good example, would be to build a model that could recognize a food object and provide a health or freshness score and then apply quality control metrics to identify what level of freshness score should be considered for shipment.
You will select to IoT or if you are interest in data science you will select the area of data analytics
What about training a predictive model for the quality of a specific food based from the features of an image?
