The U.S. has clearly been an incubator for small businesses; however, with COVID and the increasing barriers to market, other countries such as South East Asia, Australia, Europe, et cetera are increasing their small business presence. Will the U.S. continue to become unhospitable to small businesses? Over 90% of U.S. businesses are considered small- to medium-businesses (SMB). The rate of new SMBs is declining.
