Actually the dye I am using does not show any bathochromic or hypsochromic shift while changing polarity of solvent, it just shows down and up in the absorbance and fluorescence intensity. Hence I am finding it difficult to find the location of dye only by using Stokes shift versus Et(30) plot.
Depending on the structure of the probe, theeffect of the probe incorporation on the NMR of the surfactant spectra will give you a much better location info than Et plots,
