Good Day dear colleagues
Internet of Things IoTs and 5G networks are landmark in our future technology and they mentioned in massive report by large companies and academic research papers. However, i wonder how can we connect IoTs with 5G networks?
Do they connected with each others thought wifi connected to cloud server or we need 5G sim?
i know that 5G have three mode of operation named:enhanced mobile broadband (eMBB), and massive machine-type communications. (mMTC). ... URLLC, ultra-reliable low latency communications LLC.so that, do we need a 5g sim for each mode or only one 5G sim is enough?
in the case of emergency such as IoTs in health care application, what is the best scenario to send data over 5G fast and reliable ?

5G networks are integrated with the Internet in such a way that various mobile 5G end devices are connected to the IoT as a kind of mobile 5G Things and consequently can also communicate with other things on WSANs.
In order to enable the autonomous driving of cars as 5G Things, various (complex!) Tasks have to be solved. This leads to the emergence of the Internet of Vehicles (IoV). In 5G networks and in IoV, the ideas of Software-Defined Networking (SDN) are of fundamental importance.

The 5G is the infrastructure that massively increased the capability of communication to connect IoT devices to the 5G network need 5G sim. The number of sims you want to use in your application is based on the architecture of your design. If your design is a centralized architecture that has a single gateway, you can implement your system with a single 5G sim, but if your system is a decentralized or hybrid architecture that has multiple gateways you need many 5G sims. The number actually depends on the way you have to design the architecture.
It is the advent of 5G networks that have enabled IoT applications to thrive and take root. Therefore, without infrastructure, IoT may not thrive.

a lot thanks dear Anatol Badach i checked some of your references that you mentioned, it is really useful and informative. However, i have read some blog in Ericsson website about IoT connection with 5G and that blog say there is a techniques called network slicing that makes multi logical networks from the same physical infrastructure network and that allow massive devices to connected to the internet, so could you please explain to me the relation between the standard network infrastructure the you mention in your reference and between network slicing?

Thanks for your kind words. It is my pleasure to help young researchers.
The idea of 5G Mobile Networks is based on such a use of Virtual Network Functions (VNFs) that Private Virtual Network Slices are formed. Therefore, Network Slicing is of fundamental importance here.
