What are the possible research areas by merging Big Data Analytics with Image Processing / Computer Vision?

One of my students (specializing in Signal & Image Processing) has developed interest in Big Data and wants to incorporate Big Data Analytics in his research work. I have short listed some applications / ideas merging the two fields (DIP/CV and Big Data) but I am looking for more ideas to see what other research areas might open up.

Assalam o Alikumn Khurram,

There is no problem and you can easily do it. you can classify images and group them in different coloring scheme. when any new image will be on streamline then it will be classify according to it. everything is done parallel.

There is alot of other technique and concept to do it. you are welcome if you will have any more question.
