I have collected both groundwater and biological samples (such as urine, hair, nail) for my work and need to do Arsenic analysis. Can anyone suggest me a cost effective SRM for my analysis and papers relating my work?
The following link contains a chapter entitled " Chemistry and Analysis of Arsenic Species in Water, Food, Urine, Blood, Hair, and Nails" which depicts the most commonly used method (colorometric) for the determination of arsenic. Please note that all the materials to be used in the assay are available and relatively cheap.

In addition, a second file is attached which contains a review article entitled " ARSENIC IN DRINKING-WATER" which describes all available methods for the determination of arsenic.
National Institute of Technology (NIST) standards are most frequently used. NIST standards for water, urine and rice are SRM 1643e and SRM 2670a and SRM 1568a, respectively. Hope you will find SRM for other samples also. Check the following link
