Thank you. Can i get more details on how to perform any of these methods? I looked into few research articles but could not get much.

For image quality assessment ,you can download matlab code available online. Few more quality metrics includes SSIM, GSSIM. For all these metric matlab codes are available.

I hope i can be clear with my answer for your question. If it is analysis of quality of images then above mentioned metric shall be useful.If it is analysis of the image in general, then removing the noise, segmentation , feature extraction , feature selection and classification would be appropriate for any type of images.
