Usually Journals look for a originality in research and especially if its related to some new techniques, Tools and other methods. Also, Journals can have some high standards in accepting papers so you have to do some tries:
1- Prepare a good quality paper with Zero Plagiarism and highly Proof Reading
2- Stick to the Guidline
3- Evaluate it from 2-3 researchers
4- Fix and Change the errors and comments if applicable
5- send your paper to many journals 1 by 1 in order to increase the chance of publishing
6- in case no acceptance from any targeted journal, try a local journals
Good work alone is not enough--good writing matters too. I don't mean high literature, but I do think that often times good work is obscured by language, e.g. a failure to highlight the important points properly and also insufficient citation. Another issue can be audience appropriateness--it is often a good idea to go for smaller and more specialized --but still reputed--journals rather than always aim for the big ones (in the sciences--Nature, Science). One thing that might help in this direction is to send a query to the journal editor with a brief informal description of your paper and inquiring about suitability. Having some internal peer review--by friends and colleagues, especially experiences--i.e. published ones--is also a great idea.
One thing to add is that if the reviews are useful, you should be able to find the answers to your questions in what the editors send you. If you have the opportunity, you should be revising your essays according to the feedback.
A quality and genuine research that is not well communicated will never go far. It is one thing to do a quality research, it is another thing to package and communicate it effectively and in a clear term. Sometimes, lesser quality research well packaged will gain acceptance while its counterpart is struggling for same.
I suggest, "you keep trying". As you keep trying to write, do 'read' as many articles as possible. You will fail a number of times but gradually will improve your 'writing skills' and you will realize the difference!
