Dear Pavel,

I think the most usual risk in such a welding is the susceptibility to intergranular corrosion on areas adjacent to the welded zone. The softening would result in diffusion of carbon say if welded to a SS, but if the HSS contains almost the same carbon content with AHSS, i do not foresee any major risks on the welding.
