There are several erosional factors like fluvial etc. These erosional activities lead to formation of several kinds of landform. So what are these factors and landforms acting in Sundarban Delta.
Even though I am not a geomorphologist, I will share some of my geographical thoughts about the exciting topic you've raised.
The Sundarban Delta region is a complex and dynamic system shaped by the interactions of various geomorphological processes. It is highly susceptible to erosion and sedimentation due to its location at the confluence of three major rivers and the Bay of Bengal. Therefore, it is constantly evolving and growing (The fastest-growing delta in the world).
Both fluvial and tidal processes shape the Sundarban Delta region. Fluvial processes, such as river channel migration and sediment deposition, contribute to the formation of river deltas and islands. Tidal processes, such as tidal currents and wave action, form estuaries, mudflats, and sandbars.
The area is also known for its extensive mangrove forests, forming a rich biome where flora and fauna thrive.
