Wireless sensor networks represent a very interesting multidisciplinary field of research, characterized by a very large number of possible applications. Their main advantage is the ability to be applied to any field, and in any environment unlike standadnih networks that for its application require substantially stringent conditions. Future scenarios "are aware of the world" or "nternet ofthings" are as real scenarios, and there are good chances to achieve in the next ten years. All authors have also pointed to the increasing technological challenges. Sensor networks can provide in the future a very heterogeneous data: images, sound, distance, acceleration, and perhaps smell, taste, etc.
Sensor node authentication in WSN is highly desired. Increasing number of different sensor nodes, networks and applications on overlapping areas imply such a need. The authentication should be performed for both open access and private access sensors. The applications should be resistant against ineligible data sources, e.g. hazardously selected or maliciously substituted.
Yes, Dr. Jacek Wytrębowicz said rightly that there are more scope of WSNs in the future. Many applications are yet to develop.
I agree about Internet of Things, and can add Web of Things also. In the Medicine there will be micrometer small wireless sensors in the future, going around the human body - in the veins and so on.

Agreculture is one of the potential application. Using multi wavelength image sensor combined with weather information, huge amount of data for individual plants will be available. And from ther we can extract lot of useful data by data mining. Such information can be used to improve agrecultual process, plants etc. In addition, individual plant monitoring will provide information for just-in-time delivery of palnts.

The future significance using wireless sensor network in the neural network :
Neural Networks consist of multiple layers, each layer separated by a non-linear activation function. Each layer consists of multiple ‘neurons’. A visual representation of a Neural Network would be as follows:
These networks are initialized arbitrarily, and trained on a data-set using algorithms like back propagation. Once a neural network is trained on a data-set it can be deployed on real time inputs and the outcome can be evaluated.
Now imagine each neuron as a node in a sensor network. The data collected in real time, can also be processed in-network and the WSN can be used to make smarter decisions.
