AI scalability evidence can be found and limited to social media enterpreises like snapchat, tik-tok, image manipulation software, advertisement but surely AI tech isn't overcome its infancy to be used in essential areas customer support, microservcies etc.
In my experience ...at the current state... Achieving scalability by AI is still farm from reach until the company already have big bucks.. and that too is sometimes not viable..
For example:
If a company cut short the repeated task by AI. Then they can surely cut cost by limiting number of employees but in turn would have to pay significant sum of money to cloud servers, electricity, data warehousing, High performance computing for training large sum of data, hiring data scientist or AI specialist who don't come in cheap when put in comparison with employees who had been let go...
AI created massive accelerators of processes and insights and profound amplifiers of human capability. The value to be realized is significant: Think of predictive maintenance, logistics optimization, customer-service personalization and razor-sharp marketing. Those are JUST few of the examples of the enterprise world.
Multiple examples for AI impact on enterprise's scalability could be found already in fintech, retail and other industries. More, there is no need to establish and maintain ICT facilities and data scientist or AI specialists as such AI services are offered by AI start-ups and affordable for SMEs.
