Recently, I heard about the Ghostwriting for many Academic Papers, but I don't know more about the ethical aspect specially of not telling the truth.
Is it accepted to be in our research field and Is there any ethical guidelines for it if it's accepted or not ?
Tony, getting papers from off internet sites is a real problem. I took over the marking from one lecturer who had given a high grade to a paper I instantly recognised was one from such a source, a few checks proved me right. I can instantly recognise them, but many lecturers apparently can't or don't do simple checks.
Worse, Tony, I have come across my own papers, which are freely available, on some of these sites-particularly in psychology.
There are many in autobiograhies where a celebrity presents work as their own, especially politicians. J. F. Kennedy, for example. Malcolm X. And no doubt many we do not know about. In academia it is surely little more than criminal because it advances status, reputation and earnings (in the UK therefore a criminal act)?
Unfortunately, on a slightly different note, I know of lecturers who have written student's work. A very dangerous precedent!
There two ways of view: If the credited name need the GW for some inhability to put the ideas in paper like dislexical disorder, and stay close, I see no problem and it's ethical for both. But if are not the credited one ideas, its a plagiarism, and unethical.
You might also consider the practice of purchasing well written essays for an assignment off certain Internet sites. A common event these days, I believe . . .

We have to assume that the proofreading is done and it's ethically done. Otherwise there are two ethical problems.
Not so easy to achieve, Sandro, that's why on occasion I have to refuse requests.

I think it should be considered a type of misconduct of research.

In my personal opinion, it should be treated as a misconduct. However, i have seen some well-standing journal, sponsored by major academic societies like American Academy of Dermatology not considering it this way as long as it is mentioned in the acknowledgement section.
