Hello Raghul,

DMSO is a good solvent for dispersing starch polymers.

Since its boiling point, 189oC is very high you can even heat/warm for your reaction processes should you need to.

Starch can be dispersed in DMSO but I also tried in water at 80°C and it worked.

I think DMSO and protic solvents are good choices for Dispersion of the starch. However,time and also warming the solvent for loosing the polymeric chains and increasing the swallowing rates are necessory.
