we we are talking about Chinese vocabulary, most of people would refer to Chinese characters. what is your opinion of Chinese vocabulary refers to????

Chinese is a tone language and the meaning is depended on the tone. . Considering the vocabulary it has to be considered on the tone to understand the meaning of words
If you mean the pronunciation the former is suitable. the tone is the most important to identify the meaning of words. If you mean the writing system it is pictography not like many language in the world.
1:Most basic element unit in Chinese is monosyllable,which means,it Can be a word at the same time,to form a word.
2.The way of wordbuilding is similar to sentense structure.
3.there is a special word building in Chinese
:to form a word by the repetition of the syllable or vowel
