Low diastolic pressure can occur after aortic reconstruction due to difference of aortic compliance between ascending and descending aorta. Diastolic pressure in ascending aorta will be lower than descending aorta. I doubt wheather baroceptor up or downregulation has got any role? Thanks

the low diastolic pressure was with a normal systolic pressure and immediately after aortic root reconstruction(Bental) and arch repair (elephant trunk).
