I have been teaching for years. What I do observe is that when ever I impact knowledge i always see an immediate increase in my knowledge. More so, the more I know, master the subject, innovate more idea and develop more skills. Do you believe in the concept 'the moment you impact knowledge the more you know". The knowledge you impact are always retained for life. I have also learnt this the knowledge I share with other or impact are retained and appreciated in my memory for life but the knowledge I keep to myself are not always deleted or depreciated in my memory as time proceed. Do you really believe there are benefit in impacting knowledge? What are the benefits? What are your experience in knowledge impacting process? Your contribution is needed. Thanks.

What are the benefits of impacting knowledge?
Some benefits include:
It is impossible for me to have children to study every courses or be in all disciplines but I can be sure through my teaching to have products in nearly all the fields of study. This alone makes me proud of myself and my career. I love people who can stand and say my students are here and there. Impacting knowledge means moulding and building a nation.

impact of knowledge is measured when you gain understanding in certain concepts and share with others
Dear Kifilideen
You are quite right in your statement.
I appreciate your question very much.
There is a close relationship between the knowledge that is taught to the students and the teacher's own well-being.
It shows that the impact of knowledge is not only on the quality of work, but also on the health of the teacher.
The explanation of the relationships between these three processes, (impact of knowledge, teaching and health of the teacher) are explained in:
Chapter FUNDAMENTALS OF THE PREPARATION FOR THE SELF-CARE OF TEACHERS 'HEALTH

Hello, this is really important question. I believe that whenever we share our knowledge and communicate with others, we always receive some new information, which interrelated with our existing knowledge, leads to new ideas, new perspectives,..
It seems also important, the appreciations of the society of our work. Generally social and humanistic disciplines oriented to society are less-appreciated than technical ones, which are more profit-based (although this is does no have to be the rule)… but also, what takes into account is the personal feeling of being helpful and teaching others to contribute to the societal wellbeing.
Best regards,
Sanja

Impacting knowledge means gaining new ideas, thoughts and approaches about and in situations. This knowledge could be used for problem solving or a means to an end for a developing process. This question highlights the need to emphasize that there are benefits to impacting knowledge. What should be a culture is questioned because either people feel they do not know enough or they ascribe teaching to other people. I have gained knowledge in the classroom and also from little children. My state of mind on knowledge for now is I ought to pay attention to every moment because there is an opportunity for knowledge. The benefit of gained knowledge would therefore be understanding and the ability to spread the facts.
Dear respected Harry Barton Essel,

I think that theoretical knowledge should be correlated with practical, impactful knowledge.
Knowledge improves thinking: Knowledge helps to develops thinking in two ways. It helps you solve problems by freeing up space in your working memory.
Teaching is a great way to developing your own expertise. When you master an area of competence, it helps to deepen your mastery if you go on to teach others.

What interesting question have you shared with us.
It is very true that knowledge is the only good that when shared increases more.
At I once heard Axel Didrisson say those words in one of his lectures. It is advisable to read his monumental work. There are other references on that matter at the following link:
