The world seems divided on the cause of global climate change but all agree that change is inevitable. There are groups of countries that started to take action and there are reluctant ones. I have a sense that those who take action may have economic and technological benefits over those who don't. So, can you elaborate on how taken action may help or may not help beyond fighting global climate change?
I have been researching the effects of different cattle grazing methods as a means of increasing soil carbon sequestration - towards mitigation of increased carbon dioxide in the atmosphere. So, in effect, this is a climate change experiment. However, adjusting cattle management practices has the added benefit of increased ecosystem services - higher soil organic matter, increased forage productivity, potentially increased plant diversity, etc. So, a potential example of a win-win scenario.

Adaptation:
- Choosing the right crops and agricultural systems, especially longer rotation period ones (forests and orchards) .
- Make well-funded decisions of property development projects in the case of low elevation areas.
- Changing building standards in time (e.g. 100 yearly highest snow/rain/frost/heat/wind etc).

Climate Change science is a learning geared toward helping individual to address and develop effective responses to climate-related events. It helps individual to understand the causes and consequences of climate change, prepares them to live with the impacts of climate change and empowers human community to take appropriate actions to adopt more sustainable lifestyles. Climate Change science is all about understanding and ameliorating the impact of climate change.
Taking action to mitigate climate change can also bring about new alternative energies, energy storage cells and energy efficient technologies. It can also create employment opportunities in research and renewable energy technologies.
Climate change indicates that not only can humans affect climate but indeed they already have. Our response needs to accept that our present environment and our future has a huge human impact factor and adjust our individual and collective actions for our individual and collective long term benefits.

The grand parents scoffed and said to the little ones but you cannot help all these there are way too many the children pondered this inescapable reality and replied , Yes but for the ones we put into the sea it means everything for them.
Kenneth M Towe ... most of the participants of the biosphere 2 and 3 projects are optimistic that human beings can reduce the impact of climate change. I read a book recently, "Pushing our limits: Insights from biosphere 2 by Mark Nelson", and biosphere 3 (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/BIOS-3). The experiments were designed for space exploration, but knowledge of CO2 cycle from the experiments can be transferable. What is your take on this?
Beyond reducing the Climate Change (CG). CG science has created an awareness in general public to safe guard resources for upcoming generations. Now farmers think how they can maintain or increase their soil fertility, how can they attain cleaner production. in my opinion that is something significant CG science has done for global betterment.
Humans are increasingly influencing the climate and the earth's temperature by burning fossil fuels, cutting down rainforests and farming livestock.
This adds enormous amounts of greenhouse gases to those naturally occurring in the atmosphere, increasing the greenhouse effect and global warming.
