Dear All, I am working on a project to design a training program which can enhance the emotional intelligence of training participants. Participants are pre-service teachers. which models should I incorporate to design this training which can bring fruitful results? your comments and suggestions are welcomed!
Dear Sarfaraz Ali Mirani emotional intelligence is the need of 21st century for prospective teachers. I would suggest you to work on four dimensions of emotional intelligence i.e Understanding, Management, Empathy, Relationships. Moreover, go through following articles, I hope these will be beneficial for developing training material and activities.

You can base your reasoning on what we call the appraisal model of emotion,that could be helpful since it provides a description of emotion variation during a period of time as well as it provides some variables that controls it.
