Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) is a good model for quantitative research to test whether the hypothesized relationship between independent and dependent variables is a good fit.
Dear Salim very relevant question has been raised by you. I have noticed in many research papers that people validate their results with the previous results available in the literature. But one may try to validate the results by comparing with the basic law which had been acceptable to the researchers. Overall this part of research is being undertaken casually by many researchers. Sometimes the reviewers suggest to a researcher to follow their models what they have published and force him to refer their papers.
