There are several methods to produce nanometric powder materials, which classified into two general categories :
1-Mechanical methods :these methods involve direct yield of high purity and nano-sized distributions without agglomeration .
Mechanical methods include ball milling , grinding, jet milling, crushing, ,laser ablation,etching,sputtering and sonification .
Chemical methods :these methods involve rapid depressurization of saturated solutions . This causes the saturate to precipitate out of the solution in the form of nanopowder .Chemical methods attain high yields.
Chemical methods include chemical vapor deposition (CVD),sol-gel processing and molecular pyrolysis.
