Veo que ya le han dado algunas respuestas, una de ellas es reforzar con fibras FRP, siempre y cuando el problema no sea grave.
Si lo es tiene que pensar en encamisado de acero o de concreto.
Algo muy importante a tener en cuenta en el reforzamiento es ver el problema en forma espacial, no local. Sino ver en conjunto para ver si no se tiene problemas de torsión

You can use ferro-cement wrap around the damaged portion. The applicability may pose difficulty if the damaged surface are not accessible.
