Polyphenylene oxide (PPO) can dissolve in a mixture of chloroform (20% by volume) and dimethyl formide (DMF), 80% by volume.
Vinylimidazolium can dissolve in can dissolve up to 10 wt % chitin or chitosan in 5 hours.
