In a recent work, I studied the massive distribution of machine learning algorithms on user's devices. This distributed approach offers several advantages for application purposes: scalability, reduction of deployment costs and privacy. My opinion is that the last point is the most important. Internet of Thinks produces a lot of personnal data, and privacy becomes an issue.
