We have seen many books and some papers to be used to teach about research methods applied to social science. The aim of my question is to identify a wide pool of recommended papers to be used to teach this topic.
We look to consider the answers in a research project to assess the papers identified and propose some important recommendation to be used in research method classes.

While there is no one source that I have found that satisfies all my needs and wants in my graduate quantitative methods class, I have found that the book by David Streiner,
A Guide for the Statistically Perplexed: Selected Readings for Clinical Researchers
provides a good foundation. It is a collection of articles he has published over the years in the Canadian Journal of Psychiatry that introduces various statistical and methodological issues/techniques. It is quite inexpensive and Dr. Streiner has a writing style that makes it easily consumable for even the most anxious students.
