I am prototyping a high-temperature oven made from ceramic fiberboards. The oven will reach temperatures of up to 800°C. Due to the nature of the prototype, I would like to be able to quickly change our components and would like to avoid permanently fixing anything. I am looking for materials like wire, string, or zip ties that can withstand high heats, have low thermal conductance and specific heats.
An example of something I need to secure impermanently is a thermocouple.

Have you tried water glass, a.k.a., an aqueous solution of sodium silicate? You can buy sodium silicate dissolved in water as a highly viscous liquid, hence the name water glass, which you can use as an adhesive. Just apply it and let it dry. Once you heat it, it will eventually turn into a glassy solid. To remove it just use hot water and a little scraping. It is heat resistant, non-toxic, works as an adhesive, and is easy to remove.
