I have visited this site, it has very limited content and I could not find any contact details or persons indicated.

Looks like potential spam to me. Not sure what the goal of VSR is as of now.

I just received email asking me to collaborate with SBN BHD in related fields. So, I also want to know if this is legitimate.

I´ve just received email of Vision Science Research ,asking collaboration to research in some fields . They say it is a global scientific research institute located in Malaysia. It has a professional team of multinational researchers and academic experts. So, I would want to know if it is legitime.

I have tried to ask more information from them. Make an oppinion on what they sent to me:

" Thank you for your reply and i hope this email can help you understand more our mode of cooperation.

we'd like to cooperate with you as follows: you need to provide your ongoing papers or research projects according to the specific research situation. We would have further communication and offer research grant if your papers or projects are approved by our evaluation panel. To make it clear, we only provide funds for research achievements, mainly the unpublished papers, supposing you provide projects.

Please fill in the information of the manuscript and the project file attached if you want to cooperate on papers. The amount of the research grant will be decided after the review of the evaluation panel. It should be noted that we are currently only working with you on SCI/SSCI journals, and we hope you to fill in the manuscript information form carefully.  Please feel free to contact us if you have any questions or suggestion on cooperation.

And please be noted the funds will be decided by the panel after reviewing those forms."

From my point of view it is a risky business.

I also received similar response. They also want to include one of their nominated researchers to include as a co-author in my manuscript without doing any contribution on the potential manuscript. I might be wrong, but it sounds like a very strange unethical research business.

I strongly advised you do not entertain.

i received their email as follow. Scam will not have complete information about them.

They could be legitimate (and frankly speaking, it does not matter as legitimacy does not equate acceptance). They are fraudulent and unethical in conduct/vision. Thus, no right thinking academics and or researcher should be associated with them (with their current cash for Authorship model).

I received a similar email asking me about my research topics and possible three papers to be developed in my area. Then they reply offering me some funds by authorships. This is not ethic and correct!

They just wnt to buy the inclusion of their people as authors of the work that you do, in exchange for cash.

100% unethical on their part, and on the part of any researcher who accepts those terms...
