Hi all,
this bivalve was collected from a Bay in the east coast of India from beach debris. It looks close to Cardta calyculata (Linnaeus, 1758). Can anyone identify please.
Deepak
I cannot identify the species, but it is obviously Carditidae, not Cardiidae.
Dear Deepak Samuel
Caridta calyculata (Linnaeus, 1758) Atlantic Species. or Cardita aviculina Lamarck, 1819 Endemic to Australia. So maybe some other species
Hi Deepack - For my it's Cardita variegata Bruguière, 1792
