How can we figure out the exothermic or endothermic reaction and calculate the thermodynamic parameters through the photodegradation data that the HPLC, COD, or UV-VIS spectrophotometer measures?

First you may need to setup the degradation isotherm experiment for analyte of interest.
(Ex: Crystal violet dye with photocatalyst)
The series of Crystal violet concentration expose to photocatalyst and remaining concentration able to measure with UV or HPLC.
Then, difference of initial and remaining subjected to photo-degradation
Same like experiment need to conduct for different temperatures.
Then, refer below link paper you can calculate the Thermodynamic parameters based on isotherm parameters.
