Up to now 9 macro & 9 micro-plant essential plant nutrients were identified as nutrients that a plant must obtain them to properly grow and produce yield. Each of these nutrients were identified as plant essential nutrients one by one over long periods of time with advent in analytical tools and methods. But still I suspect that there are more unidentified plant essential nutrients with present day analytical techniques probably due to the fact that plants take these nutrients at nano (10-9 g) levels. Thus with greater and continued advance in plant nutrient content analytical techniques in the near or far future, more plant essential that are taken up at nano will be identified. Please, understand me that this is my simple prediction without evidence.

Most of the soil nutrients are still obtained from atmosphere and soil, most of them means almost 76.4% soil nutirents are from soil the rest was from atmospher, so I think on your prediction you may say around 18 both micro and macro soil nutients, so let review and check them. It is known that soil nutrients may be essential and beneficial so in which category we classfy the rest? I will check and respond you as much as possible!!

Thank you very much for you comments and promise to check and give me you review findings in the future. But the point here is that there area about 18 essential plant nutrients and 4-5 beneficial nutrients out of 103 naturally occurring elements which are basically dived into macro nutrients. However, my argument based on mere speculation is that there is a possibility that there are essential plant nutrients which are taken up by plants at nano levels, But we don't them now with the current technology state of analytical technology. For example one of the isotopes of Uranium is radioactive dangerous and it is not plant essential nutrient. But who knows that it is plant essential plant nutrient at nano level? This question can only be with advance in analytical technology in the future.
