There are conflicting research outcomes on the safety of hydrochloroquine. This drug has been used for decades for the treatment of malaria without much problems. It is possible that the complications being attributed to hydrochloroquine may be partly that of COVID-19? WHO based its suspension due to a publication in Lancet! What of other publications from other parts of the world.
