At the start of the year, I clearly outline my expectations for my students, and I also provide a list of consequences for not meeting them. The most important part of my introduction is when I tell them: "I will never argue with you. I don’t want tears or drama. If you engage in any of these behaviors or something similar, you already know the consequences (they are also listed on the board. And I ask them to read those every day for a month)."

With 30 years of teaching experience, I’ve made my classes highly engaging, and students always feel good in the classroom. There is a lot of noise and laughter, and kids participate actively. I am paternal with them but firm, and, I try my best to be just. I lead by example, and they quickly learn that negative actions result in immediate consequences. Parents seem to like it, too.

School leaders play a crucial role in embedding core values into school culture by modeling behaviors that reflect these values, setting clear expectations, and aligning policies and practices with the school’s vision. The availability of data, via the Internet, social networks and other activities, all three factors mentioned above, allows too much freedom of access to information, verified or unverified, correct or incorrect, edited, etc. to change the behavior of all factors. However, I am of the opinion that complete control should be achieved over the availability of information that is constantly arriving, and this control can be achieved in connection with the leader and factors. only then can one take a step further.

Some measures, such as rewards and punishments, must be returned, because this requires cooperation at a high level, especially the teacher-parent relationship, as well as their coordination. Parents must pay more attention to controlling their child at school, so that the children see that the parent is interested in them. Of course, parents can have more control, unlike teachers, I mean information, and therefore they would pass it on to the teachers. Regarding information for parents, control lies in the organization of certain extracurricular activities for parents, on those topics.

As a school leader, I display an example of being a role model for respect, integrity, and inclusivity in my daily interactions with students, teachers, parents, and other stakeholders. I also state these values clearly in school meetings, announcements, and communications.

Moreover, I am taking the lead in creating a positive school climate, which is also vital in motivating all the stakeholders; both internal and external which leads to smooth operations of the school. Involving them in planning and decision-making activities promotes collaboration tantamount to workmanship and camaraderie encouraging them to work in teams.

Thus, openness is significant for a school leader to communicate these core values, reflect these values in daily practices, and ensure a two-way feedback mechanism at all levels.
