To perceive anything by common sense is science including chemistry. There are  different paths a person  may follow using common sense to realize science . Philosophy dictates the urge to apply for common sense. People at large , not having  proper common sense, relate special knowledge to science .  The philosophy of everything  including all science is very general  . Philosophy is essential to develop the power of thinking and that is related to innovation. It is  a must for everything including chemistry.
