In FTIR near 3200-3600 cm-1, the peak will appear which is attributed to O-H stretch. More the OH grps, more will be the area under the peak.

The O-H vibration is appearing between 3200-3600 cm-1 as strong and   broad. Also H-O-H weak peak is appearing between 1600-1800  cm-1.
