I've working on (PVDF) piezoelectric materials. during the characterization, i attempt to measure the output voltage and ampere of it via Multi-meter and oscilloscope. the range of output voltage and ampere are mV and nA, respectively. the point is that the noise of measuring instrument are more than this range.
do you have any idea to make some circuit to detect the output voltage or ampere under certain condition?
i was thinking about some circuit to enhance the voltage and ampere under defined amount too.
i would be please if the researcher in this field of materials help me out.

May be the easiest method to measure the piezoelectric effect is by applying an alternating pressure on the piezoelectric transducer and measure its developed voltage. Hear you use a speaker to generate the the sound waves which one applies them on the transducer and then measures the open circuit voltage by a sensitive AC Keithley voltmeter.
You can substitute the voltmeter by an operational amplifier to amplify the transducer voltage and then apply the amplified voltage on an oscilloscope.
Since your signal is in form of sine wave you can use bandpass filter to clean the signal from the noise.
Then you can load the transducer with a load resistance and measure its current by using a current sensitive ammeter.

The output from the piezoelectric element is a charge proportional to pressure. Detecting this requires a charge amplifier to convert the signal to a voltage. Some piezoelectric pressure sensors include an internal charge amplifier to simplify the electrical interface by providing a voltage output. Take a look at the link:
