If with architecture you mean the structure of the muscle including its origin(s), inserction(s) and offcourse the muscular group that it belongs among other caractheristics, then yes, it has a really strong relationship, i recomend you to read the basis of this in some biophysics book, and to satisfy your curiosity you could read about both, structural, and functional anatomy
