The formation of chloride ion (as HCl used as dopant) in the polymeric chains (polyaniline) stabilize.   Chloride is anion. Polymeric chain is cation.

The chloride-ion formation is the stabilizing factor during electropolymerization. It lets you stabilize the growing radical-cation and enhances the polymer conductivity.

Formation of chloride ion ( as HCL used as dopant ) stabilize by polyaniline  due to formation of following structure , which  helps in resonance
