We often use geo-spatial to define applications related to spatial or geographical cases.

But what's the difference between spatial statistics and geo-statistics?

Geostatistical data are spatial data.

Spatially autocorrelated data have a relationship that depends on the distance between them (their locations).

Geostatistics deals with spatial data that are spatially autocorrelated.
