Hello, everyone.
In recent years, AI has achieved significant breakthroughs in the field of structural biology. Traditional structural biology methods for resolving structures, such as X-ray crystallography and cryo-electron microscopy, have much higher time costs compared to AI. An increasing number of small structural biology research groups have given up resolving structures on their own and shifted to other research directions.
As a doctoral student, I would like to discuss together with doctoral students currently studying structural biology and related majors around the world: In the era of AI, what are the development directions of structural biology? What other work can we do in the field of structural biology?
Thank you.
