Nowadays, we can see a huge number of papers on biochars and hydrochars derived from agricultural wastes and other materials. A great number of researchers have reported promising results and observations from their studies. Furthermore, different methods have been suggested for the modification of these chars to be applied in a certain objective. But, on the other hand, there is not sufficient information on the adverse impacts of these products, especially when it comes to hydrochars as it generates liquid waste. Besides, is there a comprehensive study in which the adverse effects of these materials have been discusscussed. For example, the application of these chars in lands can result in environmental pollution such as the release of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons into the environment?
Kazim... The present situation is the utilization of hydrocarbons for combustion and produce energy for civil purposes. The hydrocarbon themselves are not the problem. The problem lies in the combustion products that affects the climate and global warming. Much research is carried out nowadays to reduce the CO2 and gases like SO2 or unburnt hydrocarbons by absorption and sequestering. Much can be said about this topic.
In what basis you say that the biochar in land emits the PAH ?. Furthermore, biochar stability is strong in land and its depends on at what temperature you derived biochar.
