Can anyone explain about Tafel plots, how to find tafel curve from cyclic voltammetry or linear sweep voltammetry measurement?

The Tafel equation is an equation in electrochemical kinetics relating the rate of an electrochemical reaction to the overpotential.Using the Tafel curve one can determine the corrosion potential or open circuit potential. The coefficient of charge transfer can also be determined as the slope of the Tafel curve. Choosing the right potential window depends on electrochemical system. In brief, anodic and cathodic peak current shoud be in the potential interval.Good luck
