If I have a mixture which contains alpha- and gluco- amylases in a starch hydrolysis setting, by checking the time course profile of oligosaccharides and glucose, is it possible for me to deduce/identify the kinetics of alpha- and gluco- amylases individually? In other words, I would like to find out the kinetic parameters of alpha- and gluco- amylases from their synergism in starch hydrolysis assuming that isolation of the enzymes in the mixture is challenging and I do not want to lump the actions of both enzymes. What are your suggestions?
