I want to conduct a mental development test on Indian tribal SAM/MAM children (7 months-5 yrs) who visit a facility for inpatient care .. The objective is to link level of nutritional status/improvement with level of psycho social stimulation.. It would be conducted in hospital itself.. Please note, I would also look at parent -child interactions as well as this an ethnic-poor social group..
Kindly suggest appropriate scale (eg: Bayley, Griffiths Mental Development Scales ) that I could use for the same with some research papers..

the more important measurements to consider are how to describe and quantify the intervention of "psychosocial stimulation". This may not be a 'level' on one dimension. The 'strength' or 'quality' of psychosocial stimulation needs to be carefully described, quantified. Distinguish between stimulation provided between parent-child and other sources of stimulation that may also be therapeutic (example, interactions with sibling, hospital staff).The review described the intervention as "Psychosocial stimulation (ie, physical, sensory, and/or emotional input), play therapy, or responsive parenting interventions in any setting (eg, community or hospital–based) were included."
