I am planned for my dissertation regarding sufficiency preoperative education among patient undergoing cardiac surgery. Is there any related instrument that I can use? There are limited source that I can find. Thank you.
Preoperative education are paramount important for postoperative outcome of cardiac surgeries. Preoperative education about chest physiotherapy in the form of incentive Spirometry , Nebulisation and steam inhalation have improved outcome for postoperative cardiac surgical patients. We can also motivate patients about the no need of worries , everything will be fine to relieve anxiety . Also provide battery of pain relief modalities to relief postoperative pain.

One of most important educational part before cardiac surgery might be to inform the symptoms at earliest possible time to parents or relatives to consult Doctor to Treat at Right time for Better patients outcome
