Everybody wants "success", none wants "failure". In reality, "success" is an extra bit over "failure".

You are rigth in saying that everybody wants "success", none wants "failure". To my understanding, however, many people failure to understand that it is often the case that we have to experience some failure to attain success. So, success and failure may be more associated with each other than we generally realize. This reminds me of T. Edison quote that genius (and success) are 1% inspiration and 99% perspiration (hard work).

As you have said everyone wants success. But they often think that they get success by following a shortcut, not a demanding track. They are wrong in this respect. This reminds me of an episode between Alexander the Great, king of Macedonia, and his tutor, the Greek Geometer Menaechums. It is said that the king once asked his tutor to teach him a shortcut to master of geometry. It is alleged that Menaechums repplied-"Oh King! To travel through your country there are royal roads, and roads for ordinary people. However, to master of geometry there is only one road and this demanding road is the same for all."
There may be many ways to achieve success. But none of them is to follow a shortcut, but a demanding track. So, those who think that can achieve success by following a shortcut are doomed to not attainning any sucess at all.
