I am working in a medieval Christian cemetery in the center of the Iberian Peninsula (13th - 15th centuries).

The burials are all common according to the Christian rite (supine decubitus, arms on the belly), except for this one. I have not yet carried out the bioanthropological study, but at first glance, it does not seem that there is any pathology affecting the leg joints. They have been placed like this intentionally.

(As you may have seen, there are the remains of two individuals; one of them was removed to place this body).

Does anyone know of any similar case in the bibliography?

Thank you so much.
