Do you think we can reduce the time of magetic resonanse imaging (MRI) with to use deep learning?
Deep learning is used a lot in MRI but in the context of image analysis and diagnosis. I cannot see how it can be used to reduce the scanning time as that relates to acquisition of k-space. Reducing scan time therefore relates to k-space acquisition techniques such as (mainly) parallel imaging, multiband, and compressed sensing. Additional widely-used techniques will undoubtebly be developed in the future but I can't see how they would utilize deep learning, unless they can somehow enhance compressed sensing to fill-in points of k-space that are not acquired.
