Just asking which journals are slow and not that much author friendly, from your experience? Which journals to avoid? Sometimes learning from bad experience will help others not to go through the same thing.

Honestly, your question should be more specific. For example, in which area did you mean? Medicine, social science, etc...
In terms of slow journals, I think the best way to avoid the delay for receiving the decision regarding any submitted research papers is to send the editor of the journal before the submission and ask him/her about the average time that is needed for receiving the decision.

Thank you. I just want to know if you ever had a bad experience with a journal, like after the review is complete to get a feedback it took months or taking months to inform you the paper is not in the scope of the journal etc. Bad experiance will help some of us in our journal selection for publication.
