I am applying a acceleration time history at the base of the model and also applying rayleigh damping coefficients (alpha and beta) by using similar procedure given in the plaxis manual. The signal should get damped when it travel toward the surface of the model but in my case my signal is getting enhanced can any one let me know why? and how can I correct it. Thankyou.
