Should scientists consider boycotting a meeting based on decisions and ways-of-thinking of the government of the hosting country???

I mean this as a real question in the light of recent decisions by the president of the US. Those decisions are alarming signs against a free, educated and rationally-thinking world.

We have boycotted countries or companies for smaller things....

Our responsibility, as educators, researchers or even scientists is to seek truth and disseminate it to humanity. It is up to them to decide whether to accept the truth as it is or as how they want it to be. But that doesn't mean we should give up on them.
